"Oda Mae Swearingen, 91, of Woodville, Texas, died Monday, June 19, 2000 at Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 21, 2000 at 10 a.m. in the Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with a 12 noon graveside service in Phelps Cemetery near Saratoga, Texas. Officiating at the services will be Pastor Ginna Harrison.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Cowart, David Foxworth, Eddie Stafford and Woodrow Wilson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 20, 2000 from 5 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Swearingen was born August 7, 1908 in Tyler County, Texas. She was a lifelong resident of Tyler County and had worked as a nurse's aide.

She is survived by her son, Eddie Stafford of Woodville; nieces, Betty Willingham of Woodville and Barbara Jarrott of Warren; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Stringer and Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
