Son of Robert and Olive Price Pate Foxworth. Charlie married Willie Mae Dean on July 2, 1935.

WOODVILLE – Funeral services for Charlie Preston Foxworth, 80, of Woodville, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 1994, from the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with Brother Steve Benthall and Brother Steven Ford, pastor of Harmony Baptist Church officiating. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery near Woodville.

Mr. Foxworth died January 31, 1994, at the Tyler County Hospital in Woodville.

Born April 26, 1913, in Woodville, he was the son of the late Lonnie Foxworth and Ollie Price Pate. He was a lifelong resident of Woodville and was a retired carpenter and farmer.

He was married to Willie Mae Dean on July 2, 1935, in Woodville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Foxworth in 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Dean Foxworth of Woodville; seven sons, Robert E. Foxworth of Colmesneil, Roger Foxworth of Colmesneil, Larry Foxworth of Wichita Falls, Keith Foxworth of Orange, John Foxworth of Woodville and Joe Foxworth of Ozark, AR; five daughters, Shirley Faye Sinclair of Houston, Ann Caldwell of Lufkin, Dorothy Stephens of Woodville, Peggy Chandler of Woodville and Joan Dies of Woodville; a brother, R. L. Foxworth of Warren; a sister, Oda Mae Swearingen of Woodville; 36 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Richard Caldwell, Allen Caldwell, Gene Caldwell, Jimmy Caldwell, Steven Sinclair, and Chad Stephens. Riley Funeral Home of Woodville directed the arrangements.
