She married Peter Staifer in Monroe, Michigan on 17 Mar 1928. He passed in 1936 leaving Felicia with 3 small children to raise. She took work as a maid wherever she could find it to keep food on the table. All 3 of her kids did well in life--a tribute to her. She died at the home of her youngest son in Sylvania, Ohio of a heart attack.
