Richard Huffman 1947 - 2010 Bonner Springs
Services for Richard Dean Huffman, 62, of Bonner Springs, will be at 5 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, Bonner Springs. Visitation will follow the services until 7 p.m. Private graveside committal services will follow at a later date in Lenape Cemetery in rural Bonner Springs.
Mr. Huffman died Sunday, April 18, 2010, in a car accident.
He was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Kansas City, Kan., and lived most of his life in the Bonner Springs area. He graduated from Linwood High School. At one time Mr. Huffman worked with his father at Nipak Fertilizer in Gainesville, Texas, where he later became a manager. He was retired from Procter and Gamble in Kansas City, Kan.
All three of his children preceded him in death: Michael Dean Huffman in 1988, Sara Ann Huffman in 1990; and Robert Wayne Huffman in 1993
Survivors include his wife, Karen Marie Huffman, of the home; and a brother, Floyd Alien Huffman, Linwood.
