Services for Sara Ann Huffman, 12, Bonner Springs, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Alden-Harrington Chapel, Bonner Springs, with the Rev. Craig McClun and the Rev. Jon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lenape Cemetery, near Linwood.
Sara died Wednesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of an apparent cardiac arrest.
She was born May 26, 1978.
Sara was a seventh-grader at Basehor-Linwood Middle School, where she was a member of the volleyball team, basketball team and the Pep Club.
Survivors include her parents, Richard and Karen Huffman, and a brother, Robert, all of the home; paternal grandparents, Floyd E. and Naomi Huffman, Linwood; and maternal grandmother, Ruth Hollandsworth, Overland Park.
