Barbara Hawkins Brown, 73, of Charlottesville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 19, 2010, at her home.
She was born on April 13, 1937, in Charlottesville, to the late Samuel Hawkins and the late Eva Siple Hawkins.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Wesley C. Brown; a loving son, Charles S. Brown of Charlottesville; a grandson, Trevor Brown; a brother, Harvey Hawkins of Waynesboro; and an aunt, Polly Rogel of Charlottesville.
A graveside service was held Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Monticello Memory Gardens conducted by the Reverend Lindsay Sadler.
