Born June 17, 1935, at Beverly, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Zella Swager Elza.
Jessie was a homemaker and attended Marlinton Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Sharp.
She is survived by two daughters, Dorinda Jean Weese, of Petersburg, and Wanda Darlene Harper, of Seneca Rocks; a son, David Bradley Sharp, of Morgantown; a sister, Carolyn Kay Fitzgerald, of Culpepper, Virginia; three brothers, James Elza, of Leavittsburg, Ohio, Neven Elza, of West Farmington, Ohio, and Roy Elza, of Conroe, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6 -9 p.m. Friday, April 2, at VanReenen Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at the Marlinton Church of God with Rev. Fred Goldizen officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pocahontas Memorial Hospital or Marlinton Church of God.
