Funeral services for , 74, of Seymour, were held Friday, Jan. 15, at the First United Methodist Church of Seymour with the Rev. Laraine Waughtal officiating. Interment followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Seymour under the direction of Archer Funeral Home of Seymour.
Mrs. Avary died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Hospice of Wichita Falls.
She was a teacher. Survivors include daughters Sandra Jacobs of Olney, Deana Dalton of Seymour and Holly Moss of Megargel; a son, Phil Fichte of Oklahoma; two sisters, Pat Kunkel of Olney and Nan Sue Rogers of New Mexico; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, P.O. Box 4804, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.
