Margaret Peel Keister, 96, of Lexington passed away on August 23, 2007 after a long period of declining health.
She was born in Rocky Mount, NC on May 28, 1911 to Andrew Cleveland Peel and Dora Elizabeth Scarborough Peel. She grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Commercial High School, after which she enrolled in a business school.
Margaret was predeceased by her sister, Ernestine P. Culler.
Surviving are her brother, Jacques A. Peel of Tuxedo Junction, NJ; nieces and nephew, Jean P. Culler Pruett of LaQuinta, CA, Mary E. Culler Ragin of Mt. Pleasant, and Michael S. Culler, Jr. of Surfside Beach; and many great-nieces and nephews.
