Miles "Tunney" (pronounced toon-ee) Gartman was the son of Paul Garner Gartman and (Charity Ann) Elizabeth Bailey. He married Viola Boothe on March 18, 1903.
They had nine children:
1.Charles Miles, who died in a sawmill accident in 1940
2.Ruby Lee (Frost, then later Chancellor)
3.Floyd Garner
4.Mamie Elizabeth (Pierce)
5.Joseph Vernon
6.Paul Griggs
7.Eli Edmund
8.Hester Viola (Brooks)she was called "Bootsie".She died in 1950 from tuberculosis, she was 7 months pregnant at the time.
9.stillborn baby who may have been named Quitman

He was my great grandfather but since he died in 1931, I never met him.
