~OBITUARY OF GWEN ELIZABETH KNOX

Gwen Elizabeth KNOX was born July 12, 1873 at Dillon, Illinois, and departed this life at Forgan, Oklahoma, October 20, 1939.

She, with her family moved to Kansas when six years of age.

In 1897 she was united in marriage to Commodore ANGLETON, who preceded her in death. To this union three children were born, Archie, who departed this life when a small boy, Isca and Robert.

In 1912 the family moved to Forgan where they were engaged in business. A few years later the family moved to Texas returning to Forgan in 1920, where she has remained until her death.

She leaves to mourn her passing, a daughter, Mrs. Isca MAYO and a son, Robert ANGLETON, two grandsons, Doyle MAYO and Robert Wallace ANGLETON, two granddaughters, Eloise and Marcine MAYO, all of Forgan. A niece, Mrs. Effie MOSSMAN of Wichita, besides other relatives and a host of friends.

Mrs. ANGLETON was a member of the Methodist Church in Tawanda, Kansas. She was one who was always willing to help a neighbor or friend. She made friends where ever she lived, and will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.

Funeral services were held at Forgan, by Rev. S. H. Whitaker, assisted by Rev. Davis. Funeral directors, Goodner and Adams. Burial was in the Forgan Cemetery.
