Ethel Best Turner, 89, of 2780 E. Main Street, Eden Terrace, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Born in Cherokee County, NC, she was the wife of the late Paul Turner and the daughter of the late Western Best and Nettie Adams Best. She retired from the textiles industry and was a former owner/operator of Pizza Inn Restaurants. Mrs. Turner was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Zonta Club International and a member of Peach Valley Baptist Church where she was involved in numerous Church activities.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
