Burley, Idaho -- Dean Kloepfer, 63, prominent Burley attorney, died January 14, 1977, in a Burley hospital of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born November 25, 1913, Boise, Idaho, to Frank P. and Rebecca Partington Kloepfer. Attended Boise schools; graduated from Boise Junior College. Received Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Law from University of Idaho, where he was active in various legal and social fraternities. Also attended University of Utah Law School. Former vice-president National Young Republican's Club; active in Republican Party throughout his life. Member Burley Elks Lodge No. 1384. Member LDS Church. Veteran World War II. Very active in civic affairs. Married Arlene Martin, December 24, 1945, Boise, Idaho.

Survivors: widow, Burley; two daughters, Patricica Kloepfer, St. Louis, Missouri; Deanne Kloepfer, Boise; son, Michael Kloepfer, Burley; stepmother, Ollie Kloepfer, Boise; sister, Mrs. Kenneth P. (Viola) Eardley, Salt Lake City; three brothers, Roy Kloepfer, Butte, Montana; Jack Kloepfer, Richard Kloepfer, both of Billings, Montana; stepsister, Virginia McDevitt, Boise, Idaho.

Funeral services and burial were held January 18, 1977, in Burley.
