Jack Arthur Kloepfer, a co-partner of Kloepfer Brothers' Masonry Co., moved to Montana in 1957 and was masonry contractor on many buildings throughout the state.
He was a member of the International Bricklayer's Union and Allied Craftsmen Union for 39 years, a past member of Elks Lodge, Butte Country Club and a lifelong golf fan.
Mr. Kloepfer, 63, a resident of Billings, died Monday in the Veterans Hospital at Miles City.
He was born in Boise, Idaho, a son of Frank and Rebecca Kloepfer. He served in the Air Force from 1940 to 1945, serving in the Pacific theater during World War II. On April 10, 1944, he married Dorothy Rule.
Survivors include four daughters [living]; a sister, Mrs. Viola Eardley of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Roy F. of Butte and Richard V. of Billings; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Soldiers' Circle in Mountview Cemetery.
