"William Robert Timms, 81, died July 23, 1980, of Natural causes in a local hospital.
Born Dec. 16, 1898, Salt Lake City, to Avery John and Mary Anne Newson Timms. Married Grace Kisty Nelson Sept. 17, 1920, Price. Member LDS Church. Worked for Clark Music Co. for many years. Also Bergener Music Co., Price. Owned and operated creameries in Price and the Uintah Basin. Served in WWI.
Survivors: wife; four sons, daughter, William A., Robert C., both of California; Ronald A., Salt Lake City; Kelvin D., Moroni, Sanpete County; Mrs. David (Dixie) Harvey, Pleasant Grove; 25 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Frank (Edith) Witzel, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a son, LaDell E. Timms.
Funeral services Saturday 10:30 a.m., McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd. Friends may call Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery."
