Thomas Chamberlain was a Revolutionary War Soldier. He first enlisted in the month of December 1775, for 6 weeks, in Captain Robert Orr's Company of Colonel John Bailey's Regiment of the Massachusetts Line as a private. He served at Roxbury, Massachusetts and was honorably discharged.

He enlisted 26 June 1776, for 6 months, in Captain William Weston's Company as a private and was stationed at the Gurnet for defence of Plymouth Harbor. He was honorably discharged 31 December 1776.

He enlisted 13 Jul 1779, as a sergeant, in Captain Edward Sparrow's Company of Colonel Nathan Tyler's Regiment for 6 months and was honorably discharged 15 December 1779.

Thomas Chamberlain applied for his Revolutionary War Pension under The Act of Congress passed 7 June 1832 and it was approved. His pension commenced on 4 march 1834 and was he was paid $65.55 a year until he died 8 November 1836.
