W. E. BARTH JR., REAL ESTATE MAN, DIES AT INFIRMARY - William E. Barth Jr., a Louisville real estate man for 50 years, died at 11:45 a.m. yesterday at Norton Memorial Infirmary. Barth, 76, was owner of William E. Barth and Co., 424 W. Liberty Street. He was a member of the Louisville Real Estate Board and the Kentucky State Real Estate Commission. He also belonged to the National Association of Real Estate Boards. Barth was a director of the Equitable Federal Savings and Loan Association. Barth was a 50-year member of the Preston Masonic Lodge. He also belonged to Korair Shrine Temple and the Louisville DeMolay Commandery Knights Templar. He was a charter member of the Louisville Chamber of Commerce. Barth, who lived at 2328 Cross Hill Road, was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church. He was a World War I Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret Heil; and three sisters, Miss Anna Amelia Barth, Mrs. John Laffan Jr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Jockell. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
