Texas A&M graduate, Commander of Texas 36th Div. National Guard, graduate 1st Officers' Training Camp, 1917; veteran both World Wars; executive officer, 142nd Regt., 36th Div., Salerno landing; decorations include Silver and Bronze Star, Distinguished Service Medal, Texas (1958).

Married Anne Francis; 1 son.

Son of William H. Ainsworth, Sr. and Alma Miller. He was a veteran of World Wars I and II, a banker, 73 years old, married, and a resident of Luling, Texas. Informant was his brother, Dr. William H. Ainsworth; burial was May 8, 1969. J. Lerry & Bro. was in charge of arrangements.
