Enid Elaine Dille, 74 , of South Bend, passed away at 1:25 p.m. Monday March 13 2006, in the Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation Center, South Bend.
She was born February 1, 1932, in Elkhart, In, to Donald Deloy and Clara Fern (Willis) Artley, and lived in Elkhart and South Bend her entire life.
On March 20, 1950, in South Bend, as Enid Artley, she married Harry W. Dille, who Preceded her in death on July 21, 1977. She was also preceded by a grandson, Harry F. Borkowski in 1973. Two sisters Arlene Borosh and Joyce Lynn Martin, and a brother, DeWayne Artley, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dille was formerly employed with Deepe's Gilmer Park Cut Rate Store, and South Side Trailor Sales, both of South Bend, and the Pan Flute in Elkhart. She enjoyed Horses, Dancing, and riding motorcycles with her husband.
She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Herron of Mishawaka, Mary (Skip) Callander of South Bend and Cathy (David) Fisher of South Bend; two sons, Jack (Judy) Dille of Elkhart and William (Ellen) Dille of Bristol. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and a very special friend Iona Callander of South Bend.
Services for Mrs. Dille will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Rev. Greg Crump, Pastor of South Side Church of God, will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The Family will recieve friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.pm. today, and one hour prior to services Thursday in the Palmer Funeral Home Guisinger Chapel.
