William D. “Bill” Dille, age 58, passed away Monday, Nov. 9 2015 at his home in Bristol.
Bill was born May 16, 1957 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Harry and Enid (Artley) Dille. On May 26, 1990 he married Ellen Ives in Elkhart.
Ellen survives, along with their children Danyel (Drew) Casselman of Elkhart, Brittany Dille of Mishawaka, and William Dille of Bristol. He is also survived by his siblings Virginia Heron of South Bend, Cathy Fisher of AZ, Mary Callander of South Bend, and Jack Dille of Elkhart. Surviving as well are his grandchildren Shayna, Austin, Alyssa, Alyson and Aryanna.
Bill was employed by L.E. Johnson Products in Elkhart, and later by Colorimetrics in Mishawaka. In his spare time, he loved to fish and hunt, watch NASCAR, especially Tony Stewart, and shoot pool in leagues. His tremendous sense of humor and love of pranks will be missed by his friends and family.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Elkhart. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the 11:00 am funeral service on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rice Cemetery, Elkhart, Indiana.
In his memory, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society to further cancer research.
