Eva May McAllister Duffin, our wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called home on March 26, 1998.
Born March 24, 1912 in Kanab, Utah to Walter and Rachel McAllister. Married Ivan John Duffin December 11, 1930, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in the Primary and as a visiting teacher for many years. She was known affectionately as the "Cookie Grandma" to the children of her ward. She also was an active member of the D.U.P. and served with her husband performing sealings in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples.Survived by husband, Ivan, of Draper; daughters, Iva Lee (Paul) Egan, Bountiful; Patricia (Sharon) Petersen, Draper; and Debra (Mike) Phearson, Portland, Oregon; five grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Monday, March 30, 1998 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary, 4670 South Highland Drive, Holladay. Funeral services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 1998 at the Draper 2nd Ward, 1617 East 12700 South, Draper. Viewing one hour prior. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Funeral directors: Cottonwood Memorial Mortuary.
