SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for T/Sgt Samuel George Booker USAF Retired, 74, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. John Harp. Interment will follow in Central Cemetery in Robeline, Louisiana, with full military honors.
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time.
Mr. Booker was born on October 13, 1935, to Eva Pearl Miller and Robert Lincoln Booker in Hunt City, Illinois. He passed away on December 26, 2009. Mr. Booker proudly served his country for 20 years in U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Zella Fox and Annie Ford. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann Booker; daughters, Jill Radcliffe and husband, Tim, and Lisa Chachula and husband, Steve; grandchildren, Ashley Radcliffe Morgan, Lindsay Radcliffe, Raeanne Chachula, Sarah Chachula, and Christin Chachula; great granddaughter, Lydia Morgan; and siblings, Mary Snyder, Harold Booker, Ellen Rodgers, Marge Shipman, Gordon Booker, and Mona Neidigh.
