Funeral services for Eula Rose Anderson, 80, Tyler, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with Dr. B.C. McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mark Boon, Bob Bess, Larry Lowthorp, Ollie Holstine and E.T. Boon will serve as pallbearers.

Eula was born Jan. 8, 1929, in Tyler to the late P.M. Deason and Eula Whittington Deason, and passed away peacefully Dec. 8, 2009.

She attended the Music Institute in St. Louis, Mo., taught piano for 50 years and has been a life member of First Baptist Church, Tyler.

Her husband of 55 years, Tom C. Anderson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Tom Anderson of Tyler, Bob Anderson of Issaquah, Wash., Susan Lowthorp of Longview, Mary Jane Holstine of East Bernard and Kathlyn Anderson of St. Paul, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
