Virginia L. Jones, 89, of Rossville, GA passed away Monday, November 23, 2009. She was of the Church of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar K. Jones, Sr.; one son, John L. Jones; two brothers, Ira Lee and Ralph Lee and one grandson Oscar K. Jones III (Trey).
Survivors include four children, Oscar Kenneth Jones, Jr., Terry Eugene Jones, Janice Mae Jones and Karen Darlene Mastin; 10 grandchildren; four brothers, John H. Lee, Jr., Paul E. Lee, Terry G. Lee and Franklin D. Lee; three sisters, Jeanette M. Crick, Geraldine A. Cobb and Janice R. Lauer; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Crick, Russell Ford and Pastor John Headrick officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Wednesday and from 11AM to 1 PM Friday at the funeral home.
