Universal sorrow was felt in this city at the death of Mrs. Narcissa Garrett, which occurred on the 12th instant at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James A. Bethune, in Warrenton, Va. The remains arrived here on Thursday and were followed to their last resting place in the City Cemetery on Wednesday morning by a large concourse of sorrowing friends.
