DAVID TERRANCE "TERRY" WILSON, son of Alfred and Juanita Asbury Wilson, was born September 21, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life November 1, 2009, in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-years.

Terry, as he was known to family and friends, made a profession of faith in Christ and at the time of his death had been attending Phillipsburg Christian Church. He treasured the fellowship he shared with his church family.

Terry attended Willard High School and graduated in 1967. After graduation he attended Graft Vo-Tech School, where he obtained a degree in welding and auto body repair. He also met the love of his life, Gloria Broyles, while she was attending college at Southwest Missouri State University.

Terry and Gloria were united in marriage on March 6, 1976. To this union was born one son, Terry "T.J." Wilson, who survives. He and Gloria celebrated thirty-three magical years together.

Terry was employed for over twenty-eight years with Lowe Boats, as a welder. He was known for his attention to detail and expertise in welding. His co-workers and employers respected him and appreciated his strong work ethic.

Although Terry was a hard worker, he enjoyed many pastimes as well. He was passionate about coaching baseball and auto racing. However, nothing compared to the time spent and precious memories made with his loving family.

Terry leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Gloria of the home; his son T.J. Wilson and his wife Kara; two grandchildren, Sean and Conner Wilson; his father-in-law, Gayle Broyles, all of Lebanon; three nephews, Clayton Appleberry and his wife Lacy, Walter Appleberry, and Chris McDowell; two nieces Mya Appleberry and Amanda McDowell; several cousins; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Penny McDowell and his mother-in-law, Mildred Broyles.

Terry was a loving husband, caring father, fun-loving grandfather and cherished son-in-law. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will treasure every moment they spent with him. His zest for life and unconditional love for his family was obvious in every word he spoke. He will be greatly missed.
