Nannie was the daughter of James and Nancy Lane. She married first to Tom Mayo and second to John S. Arterberry on 23 Aug 1899 in Carter Co., Indian Territory (OK).

Nannie E. Lane Arterberry

Mrs Nannie Arterberry, 67 years, of Ada Rt 1, passed away May 5, 1938, 10:30 pm, at Sulphur, Oklahoma from acute indigestion & heart Trouble. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm from the home. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. Criswell Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs Arterberry is survived by her husband, John, 7 daughters, Mrs Tennie Tatum, of Ada, Rosie Arterberry of Tulsa, Mrs Stella Smith of Lawrence, Eva Arterberry, Mrs Zonie Honeycutt, Tennie Arterberry, Mrs Myrtle Whitson of Ada, a son, Earl Arterberry of Tulsa.
