Mrs. William M. (Modjeska) Evenson, 67, of Rte 1, Weston, died Tuesday in a Pendleton hospital.
Mrs. Evenson lived in Walla Walla for 23 years before the family moved to a farm near Weston in 1943, where she has lived since that time. She was born May 14, 1886 in Ohio.
Survivors include husb William M, dtrs, Mrs Harry (Carol) Jefferis of Walla Walla WA & Mrs B L (Ruth) Lockwood of Tacoma; her (step)mother Mrs Frank Mechlin of Springfield OH & bros & sis Harry & Charles Mechlin & Mrs Addie Starrit (Starrick), of Springfield OH.
