Amos "Pete" Clary, 88, a Deming resident, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, at his home.
Visitation will begin Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Baca's Funeral Chapel with the funeral service there at 2 p.m. Concluding services and interment will follow at Desert Lawn Cemetery north of Deming with Pastor Joe Byers of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Pete was born July 9, 1921, in Deming to Emma Hestand and Joe Clary. He served his country in the United States Army and had worked as a farmer most of his life.
He is survived by his sons, Marvin Clary and wife, Judy and Ralph Clary, all of Deming; sister, Joann Rowe, of Tucson, Ariz., grandchildren, Wade, Kelley, Laurel, Emily, Seth, Camille and Cassandra and five great-grandchildren, Wesley, Chelsea, Robert, Connor and Kason. He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie in 2006; daughter, Donna Haines and sister, Peggy.
