Johnnie E. Clary, 83, Deming resident passed away Saturday January 21, 2006 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday at Baca's Funeral Chapel with Dr. Billy Weckel, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
She was born April 15, 1922 in Crandell, Texas to Mabel Frances Tweed and Henry Marvin Law. Johnnie was an artist and had been a Deming resident since 1942 coming from Dallas, TX. She married Amos Henry "Pete" Clary on September 5, 1942.
Her memberships included the Black Range Artists, Deming Arts Council, Kingdom of the Sun and was a charter member of the Gem & Mineral Society. She was also an organist at the First Christian Church and had played for many weddings and funerals.
Survivors include her husband, Pete of the home; two sons, Marvin Clary and wife Judy, Ralph Clary all of Deming; a daughter, Donna Haines and husband Glen of Deming; seven grandchildren, Wade, Kelley, Laurel, Emily, Seth, Camille and Cassandra and three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Chelsea and Robert.
Pallbearers will be David Kasparian, Jim Hurt, Ray Montano, Bob Orosco, Tom Simmons and Phil Hibner.
Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels of Deming.
