Helen Louise Dean 75, of Southgate, Michigan and Elkton, passed away on September 8, 2011.
Mrs. Dean was born on March 25, 1936 in Elkton to the late Ashby Solomon and Marie Grandle Hensley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Dean Jr. She was an elementary school teacher in Sperryville, Virginia and Wyandotte, Michigan from 1957 through 1992.
Helen is survived by her son, Michael and his wife, Nancy and two grandsons, Jason and Noah.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Church of Solsburg with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating. Burial will follow at the Elk Run Cemetery in Elkton.
