Graveside services for Elmer Miles, 56, of Keen, formerly of the Grapeland area, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Percilla. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Hassell & Foster.
Miles was born December 15,1914 in Anderson County to the late Tissue Miles and Mrs. Carrie Richey Miles and he died
today at 7 a.m.in a Cleburne hospital following a sudden illness. He was a member of the Seventh Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Lock Miles of Keene; two sons, Larry and Edwin Miles of Keene; five brothers, William Miles of Nacogdoches, Marshall Miles of Grapeland, Winlin Miles of Cleburen, Coleman Miles of Dallas and w.L. Miles of Greenville; two sistres, Mrs. Doyle Marshalland Mrs.James Arnold both of Grapeland, and three grandchildren.
