Mary Ann (Miles) Arnold , age 79, of Elkhart, Texas, died Thursday at the Hospice of East Texas, David E. Foster Unit at Palestine Regional Medical Center, Palestine, Texas. Burial at Muse Cemetery was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine. She was born May 6, 1927 in Anderson County, Texas to Coleman Otis and Carrie Richie Miles. Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Arnold; a sister; and six brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Fletcher and husband Joe; son, James W. Arnold and wife Patricia; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
