Services Tuesday For Karl E. Crowl

Funeral services for Karl E. Crowl of Butler will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kern and Schneider Funeral Home. Rev. Earl J. Guinn, affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Vicksburg Cemetery.

Crowl, 61, died early Sunday morning in the Clinton Nursing Home. Born in the Gyp community, he spent his entire life in Custer County.

Survivors include his wife, Vesta; seven daughters, Miss Lena Crowl, Miss Linda Crowl, both of the home; Mrs. R. E. Knadler, San Angelo, Tex.; Mrs. Darrel Hays, Bishop, Calif.; Mrs. Bill Gossmann, Midwest City; Mrs. Ed Merkey, Perryton, Tex.; Mrs. Bob Glasscock, Cordell.

Five sons, Karl Crowl Jr., Hollis: Ray Crowl and Ralph Crowl, both of Clinton; Olan Crowl, Morse, Tex.; L. D. Crowl, Butler; three sisters, Mrs. A. D Valentine, Custer City; Mrs. Henry Hiller, Guymon: Mrs. Wilson Stigleman, Junction City, Ore.; and 20 grandchildren.
