Death of Jep Edwards
Jep Edwards died July 16, 1926, at the age of 52 years 6 months and 6 days. He died in Norman where he had been only two or three weeks. The body was brought back to Davis and buried in Green Hill cemetery. He is survived by three sons, Leonard, Luther and Robert Edwards, and three daughters, Mrs. Audie Cottrell, Mrs. Lizzie Roberts and Miss Cleo Edwards.
Mr. Edwards was born in Macon county, Ga. He was raised in Georgia, moving to Oklahoma in January, 1907, and lived in Murray and Garvin counties thereafter. He was converted and joined the Methodist church at the age of 20 years. During his last illness he realized that he was going to die, and said he was prepared to go.
