TALLULAH, La., May 30 (Special) — Mrs. Minnie Nelson, 73, died Friday afternoon, after a long illness, at the home of her daughter.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2 p.m. at Willow Bayou Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Williams, assisted by Rev. Will Jones, officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lottie Simmons, Tallulah; one son, Herman Nelson, Alabama; one sister, Mrs. J. T. Bonds, Alabama; one brother, Oscar Edwards, Atlanta; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John W. Moseley, Bobby Allen, H. S. Keyes, John Hill, Robert Spells and Marvin Ingram.
