R. C. (BOB) CHISUM DIES AT ARLINGTON
Body Will Be Brought Here For Burial Friday
Word was received by relatives here of the death Wednesday at midnight of R. C. (Bob) Chisum at Arlington, formerly of Paris, a half brother of Dan Latimer and a brother-in-law of Mrs. D. T. Carlton.
The body will be brought here Friday for burial at Evergreen cemetery, services there conducted at 11 a.m. by Rev. Luther Rees of the Congregational church, pallbearers to be W. D. Latimer, Walter E. Latimer, Ed Studer, T. J. Rocord, P. B. Gibbons and C. J. Broad.
Mr. Chisum is survived by his widow, who was his second wife, and by three children, Tony Chisum and Mrs. Harold Witkinson of Amarillo, and Mrs. Otho Thomas of Atoka, Okla.
He was a son by the second marriage of Claiborne Chisum, who built the first residence in what is now the city of Paris, and was a half brother of John Chisum widely known here and in West Texas as a cattleman.
