The funeral service for Mrs. Eunice Bryant of Route 1, Ocilla, Ga., who died Wednesday, December 15, 1993 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Tallahassee, Florida, was held Friday December 17, 1993 at Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church , Irwin County. She was 74.
"Elder Mickey Harris officiated at the 3:00P.M. service. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Louise Sutton; Allen Shealey, Jack Gray, Gene Daniels, John Hudson and Kelvin "Kel" Whitley. Music was provided by Alice Harris, organist.
The deceased was born November 10, 1919 in Berrien County. The daughter of Willie and Clyde Handley Luke, she was a member of Brushy Creek Church and had lived in the community most of her life. A
homemaker and the widow of Rupert Bryant, she was a former employee of Walker's 5 and 10, Gray Peanut Company and Paulk Vineyards.
She is survived by one daughter, Anita B. Luke of Raleigh, N. C.; two grandchildren: Billy Luke, Raleigh, N. C. and Sheri Luke of Wray; one great grandchild; four sisters: Nita Hudson, Floreece Ross, both of Ocilla; Loretta Mai of Palm Coast, Florida, and Elaine Goodson of Westminster, S. C.., one brother, Fain Denney of Ocilla.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.----
