The funeral for Rupert Bryant, 73, who died October 20, 1991 at Tift General Hospital, Tifton, was held at Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Irwin County. Interment followed in Brushy Creek Cemetery in Irwin County.
Born March 31, 1918, in Irwin County, Mr. Bryant was the son of the late Lewis Monroe and Hester Ann Roberts Bryant. He had lived in Irwin County all of his life and was a member of Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eunice L. Bryant of Ocilla, a daughter, Anita B. Luke and two grandchildren; a brother, Buford Bryant and a sister Annette Griffin.
Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
