Stella Rosellen Berry, daughter of Rhuben and Sarah Adams Berry, was born February 21, 1893 in Dallas County, near Celt, Missouri. She departed this life at Charles E. Still Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri on December 17, 1971 at the age of 78 years, nine months, and 24 days.
She lived her entire life in Dallas County. In 1911, she was united in marriage to John Dowell and to this union was born one daughter, Lova Day of Edward's, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1912, and in 1913 she was united in marriage to Vincent Fugate Berry and to this union was born two daughters and eight sons. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1957 and also by two infants - a daughter and a son.
