Purl Berry, 86, of Tunas, was born July 12, 1928 in Celt, Missouri, the son of Fugate and Stella Berry. He passed away Monday, February 9th at 7:30 A.M. at Citizen's Memorial Hospital, Bolivar., at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 28 days. He was a retired electro-plater with Missouri Plating Co. in Kansas City. He was united in marriage with Iva Kathryn Cartwright on November 17, 1959.
Survivors include his wife, Iva: sons, Johnny Berry and wife Audrey and Tom and wife Sheila, his twin brother Earl Berry; Grandchidren: Charlene, Joyce, Cheryl, Melinda, Danielle, Brittanie and Chipper, and 13 Great Grandchildren., and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. And a daughter-in-law Martha Berry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers: Glen, Ralph, Virgil, Byrl, Virl and an infant brother; three sisters: Lova, Beatrice and Ethel. And an infant grandson: Johnathan Thomas.
Burial was in the Hopewell Cemetery in Tunas.
