WALDPORT - Services for William Newt "Bill" Fodge, 78, of Waldport, who died Monday, will be at 11 a.m. today at Bateman mortuary here.

Interment will be at 4 p.m. today in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens, Albany.

Born in Fort Towson, Okla., he came here 39 years ago, and had lived in Corvallis and Albany before returning to Waldport after retiring in 1975.

He was owner-operator of Fodge-Collins Construction Co., and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Millia; daughters, Roma Collison and Mary Lou Catton, both of Benton, Ark., and Joyce Rico, Salem; sons, Carl Collins, Waldport, and Bob Fodge, Albany; stepdaughters, Pat Torbert, Los Angeles, Ruby Bidne, Tacoma, Betty Wolfe, Toledo, and Dorthell Engler, Lake Grove; and stepson, Frank Hyde, El Monte, Calif.
