When Mary Lou Fodge was born on March 19, 1927, in Carnegie, Oklahoma, her father, William Newton Fodge (1905-1983), was 22, and her mother, Bernice Alpha Henderson (1906-1989), was 20.

Her mother, Bernice, later married James Thomas Wilson (1901-1978), in Idabel, McCurtain County, Oklahoma. She was raised by her mother and her stepfather, James Thomas Wilson.

She married Robert Mason Catton (1920-1985) on August 6, 1946, in Hot Spring, Arkansas. No children were born in this marriage.

She died on November 30, 2017, in Benton, Saline County, Arkansas, at the age of 90, and was buried in Pinecrest Memorial Park and Garden Mausoleum, Alexander, Saline County, Arkansas, USA.

Mary Lou Catton, 90, of Benton, Arkansas passed away November 30, 2017. She was born March 19, 1927 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to the late J. T. and Bernice Wilson.

Mary Lou worked for over fifteen years as the bookkeeper for Elliott Electric. She was a member of First Baptist in Benton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, brother and nephew, Louis Callison.

Mary Lou leaves to cherish her memory her niece, granddaughter, cousins, nephew, many more family members and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 7, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from Noon-1:00 PM, Thursday, December 7 at First Presbyterian Church in Benton.
