Lewis A.D. May, 92, of Leader West Nursing Center, Kingston, formerly of Noxen, died Thursday at the center. Born in Williamsport, April 28, 1900, he was the son of the late George T. and Minnie Bridgland May. He had resided in Noxen since 1935. He was employed by the Armour Leather Corp., as an electrician for 28 years, retiring in 1962. He was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Reformation Lutheran Church, Noxen. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Laura Usmar, in 1989. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George (Martha) Macialek, Noxen; brother, Ira May, Williamsport; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, corner of Rtes. 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Harold R. Baer Jr., pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Shavertown, officiating. Interment will be in Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services Saturday.
