George A. K. May, 72, of 335 Pearson Avenue, died early today, Tuesday, Nov. 27, 1973, at his home following a four-month illness.

Born Oct. 24, 1901, in this city, he was a son of George T. and Minnie Bridgland May.

Surviving are his wife, the former Beatrice Reid; six brothers, Charles W. H., of Doylestown, Kenneth E. T., of South Williamsport, Haines R. S., of Montoursville, Lewis A. D., of Noxen, Wyoming County, and Harry E. E. and R. Frank L., both of this city, and three sisters, Mrs. Eva Gildner, of Newport News, VA, Mrs. E. A. Winner, of Roseville, Calif., and Mrs. Albert R. Kornmann, of this city.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, at Spitler's, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with the Rev. John A. Howell Jr., pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. The family will provide the flowers.
