Pacheca was the daughter of Jose Miguel Pacheco and Maria Secundina Lopez. Her first husband was Jose Rafael Fernandez with whom she had the following children: Jose Antonio, Maria Adelia, and Anita. After widowed, she had another son, Jose Alberto Pacheco who served in the Navy. Fernanda remarried to Daniel Trujillo and had a daughter, Elviria. Services were held in the Truchas Presbyterian Church. A snow storm occured the night before her burial in the San Miguel Cemetery.
