FUNERAL RITES ARE SET FOR G.O. BENNETT
ALAMEDA. Oct. 15----Funeral services will be held tomorrow for George Oscar Bennett, 81, a onetime South Dakota mail-coach driver, who died yesterday in Oakland.
Mr. Bennett, lived at 529 Pacific Ave., as a youth drove a mail coach over wild country from Springfield, S.D., to an Indian reservation in the same state.
He and his wife, Jessie, 80, observed their 64th wedding anniversary last month.
Besides his wife, Mr. Bennett is survived by three children, Mrs. Ruth Rowland, Don Bennett and Mrs. Evelyn Hyde: nine grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Grant Miller Mortuary, 2850 Telegraph Ave. Interment will be in Des Monies.
