Funeral rites for Billy Francis Johnson, 31, were held on Monday at Montesoma Indian Baptist Church northeast of Okemah. Rev. Dudley Henneha officiated.
Mr. Johnson was born August 12, 1934 in Okfuskee County and died January 21, 1966 in Wichita, Kansas.
He moved to Wichita in 1963 and had been employed by the Beech Craft and Boeing air craft companies. He was a member of the Morse Missionary Baptist Church and attended high school at Mason.
Surviving are his father, Peter Hendrix Johnson of Last Chance, a sister, Mrs. Mildred Rumsey of Pawhuska, and three brothers, Clyde of Okemah, Wilbourne of Wichita and Herschel of Tulsa.
Interment was in the Montesoma Church cemetery with Webb Funeral Home in charge.
