BLAKEMORE
William McClure BLAKEMORE, a retired farmer of Stilwell, died Sunday, May 13 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. He was 76 years old. BLAKEMORE, born March 10, 1914, to Clarence W. BLAKEMORE and Sarah Kinnie WEST BLAKEMORE in Stilwell, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stilwell.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Helen BLAKEMORE of the home; one daughter, Billie C.; his stepmother, Mrs. Madelyn BLAKEMORE; one brother, Clarence W. all of Oklahoma; four sisters, Joan of Arizona, Jananna of Texas and Mary and Peggy both of Oklahoma; one aunt, Mary of Oklahoma; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday of this week in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell CHEATHAM officiating, and interment in the Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.
