Thomas M. Adington, 78, of Kings Mountain, died Sunday, 29 June 1997, at his home.
He was born March 19, 1919, in Lincoln County, a son of the late William F. and Minerva Horn Adington. He was a farmer and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Cleve Dunn Post 7101, Stanford.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Sims Adington; a son, Norman Adington of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Pam Sees of Huntington, Indiana; a sister, Mabel Montgomery of Vincennes, Indiana; and a granddaughter.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morris and Hislope Funeral Home by the Rev. Gordon Chaney.
Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
